Caravan Magazine Awards 2019

These latest accolades follow an unprecedented run of recent award success for the whole Bailey caravan portfolio, which culminated with the receipt of the Practical Caravan Magazine 'Tourer of the Year' award to the all-new Pegasus Grande Messina in September.

Launched in July this year the Bailey Phoenix is the perfect first choice for your first new caravan. Models are spacious, yet light weight, and surprisingly affordable given the high quality finish both inside and out. While an extensive list of standard equipment will provide you with everything you’ll need to enjoy your holiday your way.

The single-axle Phoenix 650 a practical five-berth model, with a MTPLM of a mere 1,388kgs, making it accessible to a wide range of family tow vehicles. The layout includes a dedicated rear children’s bedroom with twin fixed bunks, a side dinette and a full-width, transverse end washroom. A spacious parallel bed front lounge, showcased by the signature Bailey vertical picture window, and a well-equipped central kitchen complete a layout that provides comfort and practicality in equal measure.

Expressing the virtues of the winner of the ‘Best Lightweight Caravan for Families’ Award, Caravan Magazine Test Editor, Val Chapman said:

“With two bunks on the nearside and a single bed to create from a dining area, directly opposite, the Phoenix 650 gives younger caravanners their own area by day as well as by night. The layout is splendidly-designed for family harmony; this new model is an outstanding star in its class”.

Commenting on the receipt of these coveted awards Bailey of Bristol Managing Director Nick Howard said:

“The fact that virtually every new Phoenix and Pegasus Grande model has received some level of recognition from such a respected source is a tremendous endorsement for the entire Bailey caravan portfolio”.

“This success is testimony to the amount of work that has gone into the development of all our product ranges over the past eighteen months and congratulations must go to everyone involved, including our focus group members, for their part in this achievement."
