Wheelhome have been specialists in building compact elevating roof motorcaravans which are ideal for daily use as cars since 1986.

Wheelhome, who are based near Brentwood in Essex have won countless awards over the years for their compact motorcaravans.

Now they have used their vast experience to produce the first ever Compact Two Berth 100% Electric Caravan capable of being towed by almost any car with a towing capacity of 750kg including Hybrids and very soon Pure Electric cars.

On the Road the Dashaway has a shipping length of just 4m, is 1.7m wide and 1.8m high

When parked up the width increases to 2.3m and the height between 1.8m and 2.3m

The Double bed is a generous 6ft 5in x 4ft 5in and there is still useable floor space remaining with all kitchen facilities and Porta Potti still useable.

The unique Wheelhome cooking and electrical system

Dashaway has a unique independent all electrical cooking set-up which includes an Induction hob and microwave. The Induction hob is a fast and efficient cooking system with instant heat control.

You could also have have an oven/grill.

All this runs from the built-in Inverter and battery, or campsite hook up.

You might wonder how long the battery will last and what about recharging.

A decent evening meal plus breakfast and drinks – ie an overnight stop without hook up. However, in reasonably bright weather, the Dashaway can actually be self sufficient thanks to the bespoke solar panel.

Fresh water storage is a 23 litre portable tank on wheels. The water is electrically pumped to the stainless steel sink and drainer. A 23 litre waste tank is also provided.

The Dashaway features a high quality, sturdy, insulated fibreglass body, leather/suede upholstery, electrically deployed elevating roof and Podrant.

An electric motor mover designed-in, as standard.
