Protec Covers Unveils New Logo with a Complete Rebrand on the Horizon

West Yorkshire-based caravan & motorhome cover manufacturers, Protec Covers, give customers the first glimpse of their new logo ahead of a complete branding overhaul.

It’s the first time in more than five years that Protec has changed its logo and the first time ever that the company has deviated from their “Anything & Everything” tagline.

The changes came about after company MD Keith Proctor handed the creative reins over to graphic designer Peter Braisby and copywriter Paul Mustchin.

Keith Proctor decided to (partially) retire from the family business. He said of the rebranding process, “It’s time for me to take a step back … so my wife says … and delegate the progression of Protec’s branding to a younger generation.”

Despite being fond of the original logo, Peter Braisby said, “The old Protec logo has a place in our hearts, but it was starting to look dated. The new Protec ‘swoosh’ as it’s affectionately known represents our triple-layered fabric, and I designed the font to be both contemporary and future-proof.”

Of the new tagline, Paul Mustchin said, “While the old tagline implies that we’re open to trying our hand at anything, we felt it was time to update it with something a little more specific.”

“‘Manufactured by Design’ lets our customers know that there’s a purpose behind everything we do and that we’re not only limited to making vehicle covers.”

The rebranding process will continue throughout 2022.
