Travelworld Opens Its Doors Again
Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld will reopen its doors to the public when the national lockdown comes to an end on Wednesday.
The motorhome specialist was forced to close the doors to its Staffordshire HQ on Thursday November 5 due to the latest round of Covid-19 restrictions.
Travelworld now has the green light to commence operations, including a full servicing offering, from 8am on December 2.
Ross Edwards, managing director of Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld, said: “It was disappointing that we had to close our showroom and service centre over the last four weeks but we were able to continue to operate virtually and offer a click and collection service, which our customers were appreciative of.
“We are now looking forward to welcoming customers back on to our site, with all our Covid-19 precautions – including Thermal Image Cameras to check temperatures, social distancing and a one-way system – in place.
“As well as having visitors, we will continue to offer virtual viewings of vehicles with a member of our sales team for those who can’t visit our showroom, or who don’t feel comfortable doing so.
“This is a vital time of year for people looking to secure a motorhome to utilise on their travels in 2021 so we are expecting strong interest.”
Amongst the vehicles expected to attract most attention on the reopening is the Dethleffs.
Erwin Hymer Centre Travelworld currently has the largest display of Dethleffs motorhomes in the UK, with all ranges in stock and available to view in person or virtually.
Proving particularly popular is the Globetrotter XLI Edition 90, a limited edition designed to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Dethleffs.
It features full Neapolitan leather, a rear island bed, L-shaped seating and an over cab, drop down double bed.
Ross added: “The Dethleffs always attract plenty of attention, particularly amongst families. They are very versatile products, suitable for travelling parties of four to six and competitively priced.”.
Also available to view are three new Arto models from the Niesmann + Bischoff range, available in a variety of different floorplans.
