Wellhouse Ford La Libertà 2021 Special Edition launched

Wellhouse Leisure has announced a new ‘La Libertà’ special edition campervan for 2021 with a higher standard specification than its existing Ford Tourneo Trento model.
It is available exclusively with the higher-powered 185 PS version of the Ford 2.0 TDCi engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox for £56,620 or £58,665 with automatic transmission.

The La Libertà (Italian for freedom) special edition’s additional specification makes it the most well equipped campervan from Wellhouse Leisure. It gains heated water tanks (to prevent them freezing in colder temperatures), an external gas BBQ point, fly screen for side door, ventilation grills for the cab windows, a Gas Low system, rear storage pack, a reversing camera and an upgraded Tracker system which can monitor the vehicle’s location via your smart phone.

Further specification enhancements include: a mattress topper for lower bed, a bed in the elevating roof (with springs and mattress), plus there is a choice of colours for the roof’s canvas, which also features a new zip-out front section to create an open air feeling.

Other new features for the La Libertà are a new Vitrifrigo compressor fridge and a programmable Webasto ‘ThermoConnect’ heating system with a seven day timer and ventilation function. A Webasto ThermoConnect App means the heating can be remotely controlled via a smart phone, and it also has GPS functionality to show where the vehicle is parked and will notify you if it moves.

The new Vitrifrigo 12v compressor fridge has a slide-out drawer instead of a conventional door. This has enabled Wellhouse Leisure to conceal it behind a panel so it is fully integrated with the kitchen unit. It is more efficient to reduce power consumption and is estimated to run for 2½ days on a 90A/h battery. The standard 150w solar panel should be able to run the fridge and the rest of the electrical system in the campervan all day.

David Elliott, CEO and founder of Wellhouse Leisure commented: “We have enjoyed fine-tuning the specification for the Ford La Libertà special edition for 2021. Its higher specification makes it an extremely desirable campervan.”

Wellhouse Leisure has just moved to larger premises in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, with 60 percent more space for its factory, parts warehouse and offices than its previous location in Huddersfield.

As before, customers are still welcome to visit Wellhouse Leisure, however, during the current COVID-19 pandemic, this must be by appointment only.
These can be pre-booked by calling its new telephone number: 01226 668800.

Wellhouse Leisure has social distancing measures in place for any visitors and can arrange safe delivery of new campers to customers nationwide. In addition, video tours of any vehicle are currently being offered via WhatsApp.
