The revolutionary supercharger 50 amp 12 volt DC petrol charger
The Supercharger delivers a massive 50 amps of 12 volt dc power
A standard 240 volt generator delivers only 8.3 amps of 12 volt dc power
Utilising an automotive alternator enables the battery to be charged with as many amps as the battery will accept, just like your car you cannot overcharge or damage your battery with the Supercharger.
An example:
The Super Charger:
- 50 amp 12 volt
- DC output
- Charge Controlled – Yes
- Dry weight 11.5kg
- Special price £499
- Time taken to charge 35amps – 42 mins
Honda eu20i:
- 8.3 amp 12 volt
- DC output
- Charge Controlled – No
- Dry Weight 21kg
- RRP £1360
- Time taken to charge 35amps – 253 mins.
Charge controlled means that the voltage output is controlled to maximize the charging efficiency into the battery ie, to prevent over charging and possible damage to the battery.
