BBC Countryfile Live 2020 and the Caravan and Motorhome Club team-up for a new event at Windsor Great Park

The Caravan and Motorhome Club is delighted to be partnering with BBC Countryfile Live for a second year as its pop-up campsite provider for two exciting events in summer 2020. Windsor Great Park will host the first BBC Countryfile Live event to be held in Surrey. The event, linked to the BBC’s flagship rural affairs programme, will take place from 20th-23rd August. The event will also return to Castle Howard from 6th – 9th August for the second year running.

Countryfile Live brings to life one of Britain’s most watched factual TV programmes in a four-day showcase packed with features celebrating everything we love about the British countryside.

Countryfile Live Castle Howard will include a range of features including the Village Green, the Countryfile Main Stage featuring the programmes presenters, the Wildlife Zone, Farming in Action and The Livestock Zone.  The event will represent the best of the northern countryside, with a range of local Yorkshire and national exhibitors offering great food, enlightening exhibitions and outdoor fun.

Countryfile Live Windsor Great Park will also include the full range of show features, as well as celebrating Windsor Great Park with a number of talks with historians, park rangers, foresters and park managers to discuss the history of this stunning deer park. Visitors staying at either of the pop-up campsites will have the option to get the day off to a great start with a yoga or Tai Chi session.

Brian Morgan, the Caravan and Motorhome Club Head of Communications and Events said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to partner with Countryfile Live again after the success of last summer’s campsite. We’re also excited to add electric hook up pitches to both campsites for 2020, following feedback from last year’s campers. We know our members, and event visitors, will enjoy the pop-up campsites which will enable them to spend their time exploring all the features at both Castle Howard and the new event at Windsor Great Park.”
